You have to realize what Warhol meant when he commented on understanding Pop Art.

"Once you 'got' Pop," he said, "You could never see a sign again the same way again. And once you thought Pop, you could never see America the same way again."

I believe he short-sold himself here.

He may have thought he was speaking about America but he meant the universe.

Ultimately, Warhol speaks for me when he says, “The mystery is gone but the amazement is just starting."
